Tradpunkt releases ”Dansar här” at Ransäterstämman 5-9 june 2019!

Dansar här Swedish traditional music from Södermanland and self-composed music. The Tradpunkt group likes to find and discover songs in archives and collections. We were fascinated by a collection of songs from Mörkö in Södermanland. The song treasure aroused interest in deepening and playing the songs together. We interpret the music based on our image of dance swing and traditional song playing, but with a spice of ourselves and our own style and contemporary. The whole record is for dancing. For us, the songs are as much dance as music. The interaction between what happens between the instruments and what happens on the dance floor - or in the spreading legs of someone in the audience - that interaction is among the most fun we know.

The record has been recorded with the dancers:

Johan Atmer, Linnéa Lenz and Amanda Östling and are published in collaboration with Södermanland's gaming association.
